Morello Racing’s Davey Todd put all of his supermoto experience to good use by mastering the wet conditions and easing to his debut Pirelli National Superstock 600 victory.
The rookie dominated from start to finish, at one point being ten seconds clear, but eventually taking the chequered flag six and a half seconds clear of the chasing pack.
Young Scotsman Lewis Rollo battled through to second place and his first Stock 600 podium, three seconds clear of the battle for third place.
NMT No Limits Kawasaki’s Jordan Weaving took the chequered flag and third place by just two tenths of a second, after he was held up by a back marker on the last lap, allowing Northern Irishman Carl Phillips to close right on to the rear of the South African.
However, Phillips just missed out on the podium but will be pleased with fourth having fought off the close attention of Jordan Gilbert and Taz Taylor for the majority of the race.
CPE Kawasaki’s Brad Jones couldn’t back up his win last time out and has lost his title lead to Todd after finishing in seventh.
Rounding out the top ten were Matt Wrigley aboard his Sorrymate.com Yamaha and SGR Racing’s Tom Oliver.
