Flawless Ryan Vickers has further taken hold of the Pirelli National Superstock 600 championship lead after his third straight win of the year today at Oulton Park.
The 19-year-old scorched to yet another haul of 25 points at the Cheshire circuit, leading every lap along the way and further stamping his authority on the series.
Launching straight into the lead, the Mototechniks Yamaha rider quickly built a comfortable gap, but a spectacular crash by Aaron Silvester brought out the safety car on lap six, bunching the pack back up.
But it was no trouble for Vickers, who pulled a gap as soon as the safety car went back in as he continued to stretch out a 6.065s lead all the way to the chequered flag.
Meanwhile in the podium battle behind, Team #109’s Kevin Keyes took the runner-up spot after early second-place man Aaron Clarke crashed out, while Via Moto Racing’s Joe Sheldon-Shaw nosed Aaron Clifford over the line to clinch third.
