Oulton BSB: Weather warnings mean Superstock race change

Weather warnings from the MCE British Superbike meteorological team have necessitated that both the Pirelli National Superstock races scheduled for tomorrow at Oulton Park will be brought forward to this evening.

Series director Stuart Higgs canvassed opinion in both 1000cc and 600cc paddocks yesterday about the change to make the best of the good weather at the Cheshire circuit today and the revised schedule will see the 600cc race at 5.20pm and the litre class at 5.55pm.

“Yesterday, I canvassed opinion from the Superstock teams and the consensus was to agree that if this morning’s forecast for tomorrow remained threatening, then we would bring forward the Superstock race races, utilising the track time already allocated to the classes in the late afternoon,” said Higgs.
