Jordan Weaving powered in his third victory of the season on the NMT No Limits Kawasaki to open up a 16 points lead in the chase for the Pirelli National Superstock 600 title over Sandown Kawasaki’s Carl Phillps who finished the race in a distant fourth.
Keenan Armstrong ran second on the MotoBreakers Kawasaki, to consolidate his third place in the overall standings, though 50 points down on Weaving, while Lewis Rollo took third in the race on his Kawasaki.
Armstrong was quickly off the mark but Weaving soon took him to head the pack with Tom Oliver, third, running just ahead of Rollo and Bradley Jones. The placings re-shuffled but out front Weaving had the edge ahead of Armstrong who fought out an increasingly lonely duel as they gapped the rest.
Oliver struggled to maintain the pace, being eased back to an eventual eleventh place as Rollo began to assert himself, and he needed to as Phillips upped the tempo to close in on him but the young Scot held him off, taking third place ahead of the title contender.
Tom Ward was well in the mix, taking fifth place ahead of Davey Todd who was unable to replicate his victory of the earlier visit of the season to the Cheshire circuit, while Jones finished ahead of Scott Deroue. Ben Luxton and Harry Truelove completed the top ten finishers.
