Reigning British GP2 champion Josh Owens will defend his crown in 2019 with the new Team Quattro Plant outfit.

Debuting in the series, the team will use machinery prepared by T3 Performance which will mimic as closely as possibly the bikes competing in Moto2 for the first time this year.

“I enjoyed my time aboard the Kalex in 2018 and some great results gave me a real appetite for the class,” said Owens.

“Getting to ride the closest thing to a current World Championship bike is really exciting and having the backing of a partner like Quattro Plant and working with a team like T3 Performance it is going to make this a very exciting season.”
