C P E Motorsport’s Bradley Jones held off a gaggle of eight riders to claim his first ever Pirelli National Superstock 600 win.
Jones took the holeshot from pole position but quickly began to battle for the lead with 16 year-old Scotsman Lewis Rollo and South African Jordan Weaving.
The trio swapped places lap after lap, allowing Northern Irishman Carl Phillips and class debutant George Stanley to get in on the act.
With three laps remaining Weaving came across a problem and subsequently dropped backwards leaving the battle for second and third on the podium between three riders, as Jones had began to pull away with a fastest lap of the race.
Morello Racing’s Davey Todd got in on the act during the closing stages but in the end it was Phillips who took second place, his debut podium, behind the dominant race winner Jones.
Stanley also claimed a debut podium after getting the better of Davey Todd by 0.154 of a second.
Lewis Rollo had to settle for fifth after leading during the early encounters, he came through ahead of another debutant, making the jump up from Motostar, Taz Taylor.
Keenan Armstrong took the chequered flag in seventh place ahead of a resurgent Tom Ward from the back of the grid and Wayne Ryan, before Weaving limped home in tenth.
