Redline KTM’s Scott Deroue clinched his third HEL British Motostar victory of the year after a race long battle with championship rival, Taz Taylor.
The duo were embroiled in an epic race long battle, which came down to the last lap with Taylor leading.
Deroue looked to get underneath Taylor at Oggies but the pair touched, both of them lucky not to go down.
However, Deroue fought back at the end of the Bentley Straight, taking the lead at Brundles.
The fight was not finished though, with Taylor retaking the lead by diving underneath the Dutchman at the Bomb Hole.
The championship leader ran wide allowing Deroue back underneath but before the duo could switch left from the sweeping right hander of the Bomb Hole, the front end of Taylor’s KTM washed out from beneath him and the race was handed to Deroue.
With the win, Deroue takes the championship lead by two points from Taylor.
Spaniard Dani Saez claimed second on the run to the line by slip streaming his way past Ed Rendell.
Alex Persson and Christoph Beinlich rounded out the front five.
