Lap times from the second day of the 2026 MotoGP Sepang Shakedown test at the close of play.

Jack Miller made his first appearance of 2026 on day two of the Shakedown, along with the other two non-rookie Yamaha riders, Alex Rins and Fabio Quartararo. Miller was fastest overall and one of only two riders to dip below the 1:58 barrier, along with Pol Espargaro.

Quartararo put both of his bikes in the top-five, while Alex Rins was seventh with his number two machine.

Toprak Razgatlioglu improved by around 0.8 seconds compared to his best time of day one, setting the 10th-fastest time with his number two bike at a 1:58.805, a couple of tenths behind Dani Pedrosa and 0.9 seconds behind his teammate, Miller. Razgatlioglu's fellow rookie, Diogo Moreira, only rode one bike on day two and finished 18th-fastest on a 1:59.930.

Pedrosa was the second-fastest KTM test rider behind Pol Espargaro, whose brother Aleix Espargaro was able to set a best time of a 1:58.066, just a few hundredths faster than his best time from day one.

Michele Pirro was out once again for Ducati, while Lorenzo Savadori once again had several bikes to ride, including for the Trackhouse team. Yamaha test rider Augusto Fernandez had his workload reduced on day two, riding only two bikes instead of the five he rode, to varying extents, on day one.
