David Almansa and Guido Pini have swapped seats for the 2026 Moto3 World Championship.
After a year with the Leopard Racing team, David Almansa will leave the team and join the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad.
The Spaniard made his full-time Moto3 debut in the 2024 season with the Rivacold Snipers Team. After an underwhelming debut season, he managed to secure a ride with Leopard Racing for 2025.
During the 18 races that he has been a Leopard rider, he has failed to feature on a podium, he has had a pole position, and a best race finish of fourth place, on two occasions.
After the Indonesian Grand Prix, Almansa finds himself 11th in the Moto3 World Championship and is four places behind his Leopard Racing teammate, Adrian Fernandez.
However, he has put pen to paper on a multi-year deal with the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad and will ride alongside David Munoz next season on a KTM.
Talking about his new deal, Almansa said: "I am very happy to join Intact GP. Competing for them on a KTM is a real motivation. I want to thank Juergen and Peter for their patience in waiting for me, and I promise to give my all next year."
Almansa will replace Guido Pini in the German team, and the Italian will move across to Leopard Racing to take Almansa's current ride.
Pini is currently 14th in the Moto3 World Championship and was able to claim his first podium in the Grand Prix at the Indonesian Grand Prix, with a third-place finish.
