Results from the Sprint at the 2026 MotoGP US Grand Prix in Texas.

Jorge Martin took his first win for Aprilia in the Texas MotoGP Sprint. The Spaniard started seventh, but was up to sixth at the start, then promoted to fourth after Marc Marquez crashed and took out Fabio Di Giannantonio on the first lap.

Passes on Pedro Acosta and Joan Mir brought Martin up to second, which he briefly lost to Marco Bezzecchi before the Italian crashed at turn 11.

That let Martin off the leash to chase after Francesco Bagnaia, who had been leading from the start and had built a lead of around 1.3 seconds.

Martin was on Bagnaia's wheel on the final lap, and he passed at the end of the back straight without reply, going on to win by 0.7 seconds.

Bagnaia took second, and Pedro Acosta completed the podium for KTM.

It was a KTM 3-4 in the end thanks to Enea Bastianini who beat Alex Marquez, the Gresini rider resigned to fifth.

Luca Marini took Honda's best result of the season in sixth, while Ai Ogura, Raul Fernandez, and Johann Zarco took the final points positions. Fermin Aldeguer completed the top-10.

After the Sprint, Pedro Acosta was penalised for a front tyre pressure infringement. He was given an eight-second penalty and dropped to seventh as a result, promoting Enea Bastianini to the podium.

Qualifying

Fabio Di Giannantonio secured a second straight pole position in Texas, following his pole in Brazil last week. He was almost 0.2 seconds clear of championship leader Marco Bezzecchi, who was second in Q2 for the second week running.

Mixing up the front row compared to Brazil was Pedro Acosta who took third place.

Francesco Bagnaia stuck his Ducati on the front of the second row in fourth, and his teammate Marc Marquez was only fast enough for sixth at the circuit where he had so much success with Honda. Between the two factory Ducatis on row two will be Joan Mir in fifth.

Row three will be headed up by Jorge Martin, the Spaniard starting alongside Alex Marquez and Luca Marini. Fermin Aldeguer completed the qualifying top-10 ahead of Ai Ogura and Enea Bastianini who propped up the timing sheets in Q2.
