During his first full season with the team, O'Shea has been a regular top-twenty finisher and scored points on one occasion when he finished 15th at the Indonesian Grand Prix.

"I am incredibly grateful to the team for giving me the opportunity to race with them for a second year in the World Championship," O'Shea said.

"We have been taking big steps recently, and I’m looking forward to making more memories together. Since joining MLAV last year, they have welcomed me with warm arms and made me feel like family.

"I would like to thank Michael Laverty, David Eltherington and everybody else behind the scene."

The GRYD - MLav Racing Team added: "We are pleased to continue working with Eddie for the 2026 season. Over the past months, we’ve seen him grow in confidence and performance.

"Supporting British riders on their journey to the top levels of motorcycle racing remains one of our key objectives, and we’re excited to see what the future holds together."

At this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix, O'Shea was able to automatically qualify for Q2 on Saturday and managed to secure himself a 16th-place starting position.
