Cal Crutchlow has completed his first laps on the factory RC213V he will race in MotoGP next season after making the switch away from Ducati halfway through a two-year contract.
Crutchlow is on the exact same machinery as Scott Redding and has full HRC support, so if promises to be a good dust up between the Brits next year. By lunchtime, Crutchlow had put in 26 laps on the new bike with a best of 1’32.337. By comparison, Jorge Lorenzo was on a 1’30.975.
