Current World Supersport star Gino Rea was forced to leave the Valencia Moto2 test without having turned a wheel due to the amount of water coming out of the sky but his appearance fuelled rumours he is about to sign a deal with the Gresini team for 2012.

Rea, who will need some spanky white leathers to wear and a matching lid too, will reportedly get another chance at Valencia in the not too distant future although it is not clear who he will be replacing should be get the job.
