Liberty Ducati World Superbike man Sylvain Guintoli is not certain he will replace the injured, and possibly sacked, Loris Capirossi at Pramac Ducati even after testing at Mugello and poncing about in a team shirt all weekend.
The former BSB front runner, who is not having a great time in the production series, last raced in MotoGP for the Italian outfit in 2008 when it was in Alice colours but yesterday said it was tough to get to grips with the Bridgestones after doing some laps around the Italian track.
"I had some difficulties, especially with the tires. It was not easy to ride a MotoGP bike after many times. I could not ask for more. I’m confident, if I will have the opportunity to ride at Sachsenring I will be ready," said the Leicester-speaking Frenchman.
