Johann Zarco and Takumi Takahashi will participate in the Suzuka 8 Hours Road Race for the factory Honda HRC squad.
For the 2025 Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race, Honda Racing Corporation will enter a factory Honda HRC Team.
The event will take place on the 3rd of August at the Iconic Suzuka Circuit, and Honda is aiming for their 31st victory at the 46th edition of the historic event.
Honda HRC have announced two of their three riders, with Takumi Takahashi and LCR Honda Castrol MotoGP rider, Johann Zarco.
Zarco and Takahashi raced together in the 2024 Suzuka 8 Hours for HRC and claimed victory for the Japanese manufacturer. The duo will aim to take their second consecutive win together at the Endurance World Championship event.
A third rider is set to participate with Zarco and Takahashi, but they have not been revealed as of yet.
"I am very pleased to be back to the Suzuka 8 Hours as a member of Honda HRC this year," Zarco said.
"I am looking forward to participating in this traditional and prestigious race once again, and meeting all the fans in Japan.
"I will bring my good momentum from MotoGP to Suzuka, and aim for the victory alongside my teammate. See you at Suzuka!"
"This year I will be participating in the Suzuka 8 Hours again with Honda HRC," Takahashi said.
"The race will be very tough with the competition from strong EWC teams, three factory teams, and top teams from All Japan Championship.
"I will aim for a fourth consecutive victory as Honda HRC with my teammate, who has previously won the Suzuka 8 Hours. I hope you will support Honda HRC by passionately cheering for us."
