Marc Marquez bounced back from his Saturday Sprint Race crash to take victory on Sunday at the San Marino Grand Prix.

For the 11th time in the 2025 MotoGP World Champion, Marc Marquez stood on the top step of the Grand Prix podium.

The Spanish rider was able to overcome his mistake in Saturday's Sprint Race and took an important victory for Ducati at the San Marino Grand Prix.

Marquez spent the early laps of the race piling the pressure onto Aprilia Racing rider, Marco Bezzecchi. However, after he took control of the race from the Italian, he was then under pressure from the home hero, who was in second.

The eight-time World Champion was able to withstand the pressure, and respond to the fast-charging Bezzecchi, and secured victory at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

"Today I gave everything, everything I had," Marquez said after the San Marino Grand Prix.

"It is true that the mistake from yesterday gave me extra concentration, extra power, extra energy, and I was just following him [Marco Bezzecchi]. Trying to push him, always staying super close, because it is impossible to do 27 laps without making a mistake.

"In the end, he made a small mistake at Turn Eight, and I was in the lead of the race. During some laps I struggled a bit, but then I regained a bit, and found the feeling again.

"This is super important for Ducati, it is extra special this weekend. For them it was super important to win both Italian GPs, Mugello and here, we did it so, I am happy for all of Ducati."

Marc Marquez continues to have a commanding lead over his younger brother in the 2025 MotoGP World Championship, and still has a 182 point lead in the Championship standings.
