'I think anything is possible!' - Miller feels confident ahead of his home Grand Prix

Jack Miller targets a return to the rostrum at the Australian Grand Prix this weekend.

Jack Miller has not won at Phillip Island since 2014 when he won the Australian Moto3 Grand Prix. Millers best result at home in MotoGP has been third place in 2019 for Pramac Ducati.

Since 2019 the Australian has struggled at Phillip Island with a DNF and a seventh-place as his previous two results at the iconic circuit. However, this weekend Miller is already feeling the love as he returns home for another Australian Grand Prix.

"It is always good coming home," Miller said in the Thursday press conference. "It's even better with the short trip down from Townsville, so I got a week at home. Coming onto the island with some spectacular weather, which I don't predict will stay like that. We have had some fantastic days and the whole Bass Coast is fantastic when the sun is out.

"It is awesome to be back! I feel the love and it is something special down here. Every year it just gets better and better, it has been 10 years since I won that race but it feels like just yesterday."

Miller has not stood on a MotoGP podium since the Spanish Grand Prix in 2023. With only four Grand Prix races left with KTM this is something that the Australian will want to change.

The Australian Grand Prix seems like the perfect place for Miller to return to a rostrum as he hopes for wet weather across the weekend to aid him in his podium hopes.

Miller stated: "I think anything is possible! Fingers crossed we can have a solid weekend, looks like the weather conditions will be iffy on Friday and Saturday.

"The less amount of dry track time the better, I feel like we always hit the ground running. We have been struggling throughout the season to make progress after FP1. So, the less dry track time will help because our speed is generally there from the get-go, it is just how to make those micro improvements over the weekend."
