After two seasons, Jacob Roulstone has confirmed his departure from the Moto3 World Championship.
Jacob Roulstone has confirmed on social media that at the end of the 2025 season, he will be leaving the Moto3 World Championship.
The Australian rider has spent the last two seasons competing in Moto3 for Tech3 under the Red Bull GasGas and Red Bull KTM brands. However, after the Valencian Grand Prix, his time in the Moto3 Championship will come to an end, for now.
The 2025 season has been a difficult season for Roulstone as he started the year off by breaking his neck in a pre-season test, and missed the first two Grands Prix of the season. Since then, he went on to claim four top ten finishes before fracturing his left hand at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
The 20-year-old had to sit out of the Portuguese Grand Prix last weekend, but is hoping to be declared fit for the Valencian Grand Prix this weekend.
When speaking about his departure from the Moto3 World Championship, Roulstone took to social media and said:
"Since a little kid, it has been a dream of mine to race for Red Bull KTM.
"The dream started at my first motocross race on a KTM 50. And continued through racing flat track on their 65s, 85s and 125s.
"I had my first race in JuniorGP to my last Moto3 race this weekend. All while on a KTM.
"Unfortunately, our path has come to an end, as well as my time in Moto3. It hasn’t been the easiest of roads, that’s for sure.
"But I’ve been privileged to say that I raced for Red Bull KTM'.
"And happy to tick off one of little Jacob’s dreams.
"Thank you for the opportunity."
