Matteo Bertelle is set to remain with LEVELUP - MTA in 2026, with Marcos Uriate joining him in the Italian team.
The LEVELUP - MTA Moto3 squad has reportedly decided on their Moto3 rider line-up for the 2026 season.
The Italian team started the 2025 season with Australian rider Joel Kelso and Italian rider Matteo Bertelle. However, Bertelle has been missing since he broke his leg and arm after claiming his maiden Grand Prix podium at the Grand Prix of the Americas.
Across the first three Grand Prix weekends, Bertelle claimed two pole positions, a podium, and two further top-five finishes. The 21-year-old will return to racing at the Japanese Grand Prix after spending six months on the sidelines.
Because of his impressive start to the 2025 season, Bertelle has convinced the LEVELUP - MTA squad to give him a second chance for 2026, and according to Sky Sports Italia, he has signed a contract extension with the squad.
However, Bertelle will not ride alongside his current teammate, Joel Kelso, as the Australian rider is on his way to the MLav Racing squad next season.
It has been reported that the current LEVELUP - MTA team replacement rider, Marcos Uriate, will get a full season with the team in 2026. The Spaniard has been with the team since the Italian Grand Prix and has secured two top ten finishes across eight race weekends.
