It has been confirmed that Joel Esteban will replace Marcos Uriate in the LEVELUP - MTA's 2026 Moto3 rider line-up.
Heading into the final round of the 2025 Moto3 World Championship, the LEVELUP - MTA squad have changed their 2026 Moto3 rider line-up.
Initially, the squad had confirmed that Matteo Bertelle and Marcos Uriate would be their rider line-up next season. But this line-up changed ahead of the 2025 season finale.
Matteo Bertelle will remain with the squad after a difficult 2025 season due to injury, despite his podium at the American Grand Prix in the early stages of the year.
However, Marcos Uriate will not remain with the team next season and will be replaced by fellow Spaniard Joel Esteban.
After a disappointing 2024 Moto3 World Championship, the Spaniard left the Grand Prix paddock and went back to the JuniorGP Championship for the 2025 season.
With one round left of the 2025 season, Esteban sits fourth in the JuniorGP Championship and has a race win and a further podium to his name. During the year, he has also been a replacement rider in the Moto3 World Championship.
In eight appearances across the 2025 Moto3 World Championship, Esteban has secured three top ten finishes, two of which were top five finishes at the Australian and Portuguese Grands Prix.
After a year away, Esteban will get a second go at the Moto3 World Championship as he is set to participate in the full 2026 Moto3 World Championship with LEVEVLUP - MTA on the KTM.
