Ducati provided new aero packages at the Aragon Test, which Marc Marquez was able to review and could use at Mugello.
Off the back of a perfect weekend at the Aragon Grand Prix, Marc Marquez was back on track for a one-day test at MotorLand Aragon.
Marquez ended the day third on the timesheets and completed 73 laps across the eight-hour test session.
The MotoGP World Championship leader did not go into detail about the new fairings that he tested, but reacted positively to the new items that he had.
"It was a busy day, after a race weekend it is not easy with the physical condition," Marquez said after a productive Aragon Test.
"We were able to try a lot of new things, as you could see, we were able to concentrate on the new fairings.
"With both fairings, the lap times are very similar, but as always, when you bring something new and the lap times are equal, it is a good sign. We now need to work on the bike balance, and the analysts need to check everything and decide which is the right direction."
Marquez was asked about the fairings he tested, and he confirmed that he would be able to use all the items he tested at the Italian Grand Prix in two weeks, if he believes they would be better.
"Everything I tested today, if I wanted to have it in Mugello, I can have it," he revealed.
"We need to decide, because our bike balance, our base bike is super good. So, we need to decide so that we do not lose the feeling."
