Lanky Frenchman Loris Baz has signed for the Avintia Ducati MotoGP team and will join Hector Barbera in the squad for 2016.
Baz, who has ridden in both World and British Superbike before moving to MotoGP this season, leaves the troubld Forward Yamaha team but his signing puts into question the destination of Yonny Hernandez.
The Columbian has a two-year contract with Ducati and his seat in the Pramac Ducati team has already been occupied by Scott Redding. The only place left for him to go now is to the rumoured Aspar Ducati squad alongside the contracted Eugene Laverty.
