Movistar Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi has yet to make his mind up about using a new chassis in Saturday’s Assen MotoGP as he wants to do some more work with it in practice at the Dutch track.
Rossi had planned to test the frame at Barcelona but wet weather meant they had to decamp to Motorland Aragon and spend a day evaluating it but Rossi says more is needed starting tomorrow.
“To try the new stuff in Barcelona was very important because it was back-to-back from Sunday but the conditions were very bad so we try the new frame at Aragon,” said Rossi, speaking at Assen.
“The feeling was good and we will try also tomorrow. During the practice we will undertsand in reality whether it has something better or not.”
