MotoGP bosses have this morning confirmed that events managing director Javier Alonso is no longer working at the company.

It is not clear why Alonso, who has been with promoters Dorna since 1992, has left the building but it will now require a reshuffle of the race direction team.

“I can confirm that Javier Alonso is not working for Dorna. In the following days we will inform about the new structure in both Dorna and Race Direction,” said Dorna’s Communications Director Ignacio Sagnier.
