MotoGP ringmaster Carmelo Ezpeleta is considering altering the Qatar raceday schedule to try and avoid dew-point at the desert track.
Repsol Honda's Jorge Lorenzo put in a personal request to the big cheese to change the MotoGP start time to earlier than the scheduled 8pm and an increase in humidity matched with a drop in temperature leaves a film of dew on the track.
It is a point that has been made before but both Lorenzo and team-mate Marc Marquez went down at around that time yesterday.
"I spoke with Jorge and other riders yesterday," said Ezpeleta. "We need to evaluate the situation and nothing has been decided, but if we can make changes we will.
"If the situation could be dangerous, then we will of course make changes if needed to increase rider safety."
