Reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez has played down rumours of him racing in both Moto2 and the blue riband class at the Valencia season finale - but did not completely rule it out.
The Repsol Honda man, who was Moto2 king two years ago, said there was a 95 per cent chance of it not happening but Valentino Rossi had other ideas.
“No no no,” said Marquez, only to be interrupted by Rossi: “Yes, yes, yes. After he won the championship he can make two classes in the last five races
“I think it is too hard in one season, one weekend is possible. Thirty two races for a rider is a lot. I heard some rumours true. 95 per cent is no, but it’s that five per cent that you don’t know,” added Marquez.
