Factory Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo is ready to re-ignite his MotoGP title scrap with Casey Stoner at the Brno round this weekend and will then go on to ride next year's 1000cc race bike in a test on Monday.

Lorenzo, who has been silent in the summer break even though it looks like he will be compelled to travel to Motegi in October, says he is up for a fight at the Czech Republic track and hopes to start the second half of the season on a high.

"After the long break we are going to Brno completely recharged and ready to fight and try to reduce the gap with Casey. This is a track I like and where I won last year. I hope we can start the second half of the season on the podium. After the race we will be testing the 1000cc bike for one day. I am really looking forward to discovering the new Yamaha," said Lorenzo.
