MotoGP Germany: Lorenzo title challenge not over, says Rossi

Factory Yamaha's Valentino Rossi believes that Jorge Lorenzo's challenge for the 2013 MotoGP world title is not over despite the fact he will miss tomorrow's Sachsenring race and potentially the next round at Laguna Seca.

Lorenzo went under the knife in Barcelona this morning to fix the dented plate in the collarbone which he smashed in Holland.

"What happened to Jorge is the worst thing because he crash another time on the shoulder and looks like have some trouble with the metal inside so now become difficult," said The Doctor, speaking at the Sachsenring.

"If he isn't here for the next two races the situation in the championship will be very difficult. Not impossible because Jorge demonstrate he is very fast, he can win the races. After Laguna we have three weeks in a row of stop, so at Indianapolis he can be back at 100 per cent but also depends on the result of the Honda in these two races. The championship is more long but everything become more difficult."
