MotoGP Le Mans: Lowes hoping to leave behind 'nightmare' Jerez

Federal Oils Moto2 star Sam Lowes is very much hoping to leave behind the nightmare Jerez MotoGP round as he readies himself for this weekend’s clash at Le Mans.

After spending the weekend at Imola with brother Alex, Lowes goes into the French race after a successful post-race test in Spain which saw a raft of improvements made.

“Le Mans is a track I like very much even though it’s very different to Jerez. We improved a lot during the test, so we will use all the positives we found to do well in France and hopefully leave the nightmare weekend of the Spanish GP behind our backs,” said Lowes.

“I would like to truly thank the team from the bottom of my heart for the hard work done during the test; now we’re ready to get to France with great motivation. Shark helmets will be the title sponsor and that’ll give me even a greater boost to succeed.”
