Repsol Honda's Casey Stoner has continued his MotoGP free practice form setting the quickest time in the second session this afternoon keeping Marco Simoncelli half a second behind him while Dani Pedrosa ensured continued Honda domination in third place.
Stoner lapped in 1'33.782 compared with Simoncelli's last effort of 1'34.186 while Pedrosa was nearly three quarters of a second in arrears on a 1'34.478 but couldn't match his time from this morning's session.
Nicky Hayden, on the Marlboro Ducati, found some pace over lunch and hauled himself into fourth place just ahead of Jorge Lorenzo on the Factory Yamaha but the reigning world champion is almost a second off the pace.
The third Repsol bike of Andrea Dovizioso slid down the order to sixth while Colin Edwards' Monster Yamaha is seventh with a 1'34.939. Hiro Aoyama is the fifth Honda in the top eight while Valentino Rossi struggled to ninth. Ben Spies rounds out the top ten.
Britain's Cal Crutchlow is in 12th place on a 1'35.158 but had to peel himself off the floor after crashing with only a handful of laps to go. The ex-footballer looked to be unhurt and was trying to bump-start his YZR-M1.
