Monster Yamaha's Cal Crutchlow has suffered a badly-sprained ankle in the final MotoGP free practice at session at Silverstone this morning.

The Coventry rider slid off at Chapel and was treated trackside before being taken to the medical centre. It is not yet known how severe the injury is and he has been taken to hospital for some precautionary checks
