MotoGP Silverstone: Lorenzo cagey on crew chief switch

Movistar Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo added fuel to the rumour he could lose long-time crew chief Ramon Forcada next season, saying he believed his fellow Spaniard had received an offer to go to Suzuki in 2015.

Both Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa’s crew chief situation have been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, sparked by Valentino Rossi resurgence this season after he replaced Jeremy Burgess, with whom he had worked for 15 years, with Silvano Galbusera.

“There are just rumours I think, I hear a lot of things that maybe Ramon have an offer from Suzuki or something like that. For the moment it’s just rumours. I think in a few weeks we are going to speak together with the team and decide what to make,” said Lorenzo, speaking at Silverstone.

“For the moment, I am happy with my crew so we will concentrate on this race.”
