At the end of the 2025 season, MSi will switch chassis manufacturers in Moto2 after two seasons using the Boscoscuro chassis.
The MSi squad entered the Moto2 World Championship in 2024 with the Boscoscuro chassis and won the title in their debut season with Ai Ogura.
However, after a difficult 2025 season with the Boscoscuro chassis, the squad have decided to change chassis supplier for the 2026 season.
Coming into the 2025 Moto2 World Championship, a young rider line-up of Sergio Garcia and Ivan Ortola was an exciting prospect for the QJMotor - Frinsa - MSi Moto2 squad.
However, midway through his second year with the team, Garcia and the team parted ways, which left the Spaniard on the sidelines for the remainder of the season.
Ortola has had a relatively impressive rookie season in the Moto2 World Championship, as he has featured inside the top ten on six occasions in the 21 Grands Prix so far this season.
It has been confirmed that Ortola will remain with the team for a second season in 2026, and he will be joined by current MSi Moto3 rider Angel Piqueras, who could end the 2025 season as the Moto3 runner-up.
But the major change coming for the Spanish team and the two Spanish riders for the 2026 season is the change in chassis supplier.
Sky Sports Italia have reported that they will stop using the Boscoscuro chassis as of the end of the 2025 season and will switch to Kalex, which has been the dominant chassis during the 2025 season.
