No new MotoGP Ducati until 2015 Sepang test

Ducati MotoGP boss Gigi Dall’Igna has confirmed that although he is designing a brand new bike for the 2015 season, it will not be ready for the post-season Valencia test and will break cover for the first time at Sepang.

At a press conference in Brno today, Dall’Igna stated he wants to do the job properly and that means Andreas Dovizioso and Iannone will be months behind the Japanese factories.

“I would like to do the job once and I don’t want to repeat it. I would like to collect all the information that I need to start with a new bike,” said Dall’Igna.
