Ducati have revisited their 2010 excursion into front-end aerodynamics by introducing a new set of winglets on to the GP15 for the second day of MotoGP testing at Qatar.
It is believed the winglets are being tested as an additional anti-wheelie device as they would not produce enough downforce to make a significant different in front-end grip.
The original winglets were a very different shape, looking a lot like the ends of an F1 car’s nose, whereas the 2015 versions resemble a conventional wing. What actual effect we have may become clear over the rest of the test, or Ducati could probably tell us to mind our own business.
