Marlboro Ducati's Valentino Rossi will test a full Deltabox-style aluminium frame at Jerez later this week in order to try and solve the front-end woes that are still hampering his MotoGP performance.
The Doctor will spend Friday at the Spanish circuit after the halfway house fix at Motorland Argon, which comprised aluminium spars replacing the carbon fibre chassis, did nothing to improve his results. He has already said he wants to change the riding position again as he is not comfortable on the bike.
Ducati are scheduled to start testing the GP12 at the track tomorrow with The Doctor flying in for just one day to avoid falling foul of the testing rules.
