Jack Miller hopes that the Yamaha M1 will suit the Sachsenring due to the track's flow and the long corners.
After some difficult weekends at Aragon, Mugello and Assen, Jack Miller is hopeful that he can be back at the front at the Sachsenring.
The Australian rider finished 14th at Aragon and Assen, but failed to finish the Italian Grand Prix. Miller has had prior success at the German Grand Prix with a podium at the circuit as recent as 2022.
"I‘m really curious to see what we can do this weekend," Miller said.
"The Sachsenring, with all its long corners, should suit us well. Power isn‘t the real issue — the issue is managing usable power and keeping the bike in that grip window, which is always tricky.
"But this track flows nicely, is plenty of long corners, the bike turns quite well, so let‘s see what happens. Qualifying will be crucial.
"We‘ve seen in Assen how hard it is to overtake when you‘re stuck behind someone — getting frustrated and trying not to make silly mistakes to pass."
Gino Borsoi added: "We're coming from a quite positive test in Brno, although compared to the Sachsenring, they are two completely different tracks, so in terms of setup, we won‘t be able to use some of the solutions we tested during those two days.
"The German circuit generally offers little grip, so we hope that the temperature will help us find that missing performance, especially when it's very hot and grip levels are not ideal."
After ten rounds of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship, Miller finds himself in 18th in the standings with a best result of fifth place and 33 points to his name.
