'The four-stroke is fun and suits me' - Webb

Mahindra Moto3 rider Danny Webb is feeling postive after his first official test on the new four-stroke at Valencia and says he believes it is more fun to ride than the old 125cc two-strokes he is used to.

The Kent man finished with a final lap time of 1'43.2s which was a little over 1.5s off the pace of fastest man Sandro Cortese but the test was a shake down for the Mahindra bike which is all new for 2012.

“This has been a very positive experience on the whole. From day one I felt very comfortable on the bike. I think the four-stroke suits me better and is more fun to ride. The bike handles really well, it’s great through the corners and has pretty good top speed," said Webb.

"We just need to get some more out of the bottom and middle of the engine and then I am confident we can run up at the front. I had a few small problems this afternoon, but that is no surprise when the bike is so new and I am sure they can be sorted out before our next test. The team and Mahindra have done a very good job to get us to this position."
