Marc Marquez was unstoppable around the Automotodrom Brno as he claimed his eighth win of the 2025 season.
The Czech Republic Grand Prix was dominated by Marc Marquez, the Spaniard was victorious on Saturday in the Sprint Race and then controlled the Grand Prix on Sunday.
With this double at the Automotodrom Brno, he has extended his double count to five in a row and his victory count to eight Grand Prix and 11 Sprint Races.
There was an early battle between Marquez and Marco Bezzecchi, but the eight-time World Champion made swift work of the Aprilia rider and regained the lead early on.
Marquez never looked back once he hit the front and opened a sizeable gap, which he managed for the remainder of the race and set new all-time lap records in the latter laps of the race.
"It has been a super first part of the season," Marquez said after taking his eighth win in the opening 12 Grand Prix.
"Especially, in these last races, we have made a step since the Aragon Test. I feel better and better, and I am riding super good.
"I want to say thanks to the team because now it is the summer break, but we still have ten races to go.
"It is time to relax, but in Austria, we must keep the same mentality, with the same intensity."
Marquez was able to extend his lead in the MotoGP World Championship after his brother, Alex Marquez, crashed out of the race.
The Spaniard now leads the Championship standings by 120 points with ten rounds remaining of the 2025 season.
