Yamaha have today announced the planned test of the 2012 1000cc MotoGP bike will no longer happen a week on Monday at Mugello but after the Brno round instead.
It is thought that because both Honda and Ducati cancelled their plans to test in Italy, Yamaha decided to follow suit with Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies now getting their first runs out in August.
"To allow for further time for the development of the bike the decision has been made to postpone the test to a later date. The new plan foresees Yamaha's 2012 1000cc prototype tested by Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies following the Czech Republic round of the MotoGP World Championship at the Brno circuit," said a Yamaha spokescat.
