Tim Reeves to make Isle of Man TT return with new passenger for 2026

Isle of Man TT

Tim Reeves has confirmed he will return to the Isle of Man TT in 2026, having missed the 2025 edition.

The one-time Sidecar TT winner (that coming in 2013) will drive an LCR Honda for Carl Cox Motorsport at the 2026 TT road races, and will have a new passenger alongside him as Melanie Farnier takes the chair.

“It’s great to be coming back to the TT in 2026,” said Reeves.

“Missing last year was tough, but the hunger is still there.

“The Carl Cox Motorsport LCR Honda is a proven package and I’m really looking forward to working with Melanie [Farnier]. She’s shown how quick and committed she is around the Mountain Course, and we’re aiming to build confidence through practice week and go into race week feeling competitive.”

Carl Cox added: “The TT remains my favourite event of the year and we block out our schedules to see the guys and girls do their thing on two and three wheels around the Isle of Man.

“We’ve been working with Tim [Reeves] for many years and been on the podium, so this isn’t our first rodeo together!

“We’re so excited to be fully behind his campaign for this year with Mel [Farnier] in the ‘chair’.”

Farnier has experience of the TT already, having debuted with Lionel Mansuy in 2015, and in 2023 she became the fastest woman passenger to lap the TT course in an outfit driven by Paul Leglise. The two took seventh in Race 2 that year, which remains Farnier’s best result, although Emmanuelle Clement has since surpassed her for the lap record for woman passengers.
