Ryan Garside has confirmed his debut at the Isle of Man TT for the 2026 edition of the event, along with a new team.
34-year-old Garside, who also has previous experience in the BSB paddock in the Supersport class, will ride for the It’s Legit Racing team in two classes at the 2026 TT, the Nuneaton outfit also making its debut at the famous Manx road races.
Garside got his first taste of the TT course at the Manx Grand Prix in 2024 and took two top-10s in his second appearance there, setting a best lap 118.622mph. This year, he will contest the Supersport and Sportbike classes in his debut TT, riding Triumph machinery in both: a Daytona 660 in Sportbike and a Street Triple 765 RS in Supersport.
“I’m mega-excited for the TT in 2026,” said Garside.
“I’ve had a couple of years learning my way around the Mountain Course and have improved steadily, so the TT is the next step I always hoped for.
“We’ve got racing planned with No Limits as preparation, which should help me keep improving and arrive ready to make the most of the opportunity. I can’t wait to get on the boat over to the Island.
“Massive thanks to [the team], all my sponsors and everyone involved in helping make this happen.”
It’s Legit Racing’s Mark and Katherine Bannister added: “We’re both delighted to start our TT story with Ryan [Garside] riding our Triumph Daytona 660, having known Ryan for a few years and seeing his progress at the Manx Grand Prix.
“Our aim for 2026 is to achieve a top-20 finish in the Sportbike TT while gaining valuable knowledge to build towards stronger results in 2027.”
The 2026 Isle of Man TT is due to run from 25 May until 6 June. Supersport and Sportbike races are scheduled for 2 June and 5 June.
