Results from Race 1 at the Hungarian WorldSBK at Balaton Park, the fourth stop of the 2026 season.

Nicolo Bulega took victory in Race 1 at Balaton Park in another lights-to-flag win for the Italian. Iker Lecuona came from eighth on the grid after a three-place penalty for impeding Sam Lowes in qualifying dropped him from fifth.

Miguel Oliveira took the final spot on the podium for his fourth third place of the season after the three he got at Portimao, beating Yari Montella but finishing 10 seconds behind Lecuona in second and 12 seconds of the win.

Montella was fourth, then Alvaro Bautista made it four Ducatis in the top-five ahead of Bimota's Alex Lowes who the Spaniard passed with two laps to go.

Andrea Locatelli, Alberto Surra, Sam Lowes, and Xavi Vierge completed the top-10, Lowes coming back to ninth after taking two long lap penalties for jumping the start.

Superpole

Nicolo Bulega took pole position in Superpole at Balaton Park, his fourth of the season and fifth in a row.

Bulega was ahead of Lorenzo Baldassarri and Yari Montella on the front row, while his teammate Iker Lecuona could only manage fifth.

Miguel Oliveira was the best non-Ducati in fourth, and Andrea Locatelli had a good qualifying in sixth for Yamaha.

Sam Lowes took seventh and was visibly furious with riders apparently impeding him in the final corner on his last lap. He'll start from the front of the third row alongside Alberto Surra and Alvaro Bautista.
