Final results from the opening day of the 2026 WorldSBK Phillip Island test, the final test of this year's preseason.
Nicolo Bulega, winner of all three Phillip Island races last year, was fastest by almost 0.3 seconds on the new Ducati in what was mostly dry day; there was a stoppage for wildlife on-track, but apart from that it was a largely clean day.
Axel Bassani and Sam Lowes completed the top-three as the only other riders in the 1:29s. Garrett Gerloff and Alex Lowes rounded out the top-five.
Lorenzo Baldassarri had a strong showing in sixth, ahead of Alvaro Bautista, Yari Montella, Jake Dixon, and Xavi Vierge in the top-10.
