After a crash in Free Practice One, Andrea Iannone has been declared unfit for the remainder of the weekend.
Andrea Iannone will take no further part in the Czech Republic World Superbike Round after crashing in Free Practice One.
The Team Pata GoEleven rider crashed on he exit of Turn 21 in the opening session and was taken to the medical centre for a check up after the session.
Following an assessment, Iannone was declared unfit and diagnosed with fractures to the third and fourth toes in his right foot.
After featuring on the podium at Autodrom Most in his rookie season, missing this weekend will be a big blow for Iannone.
So far in his second season in the 2025 World Superbike Championship, the Italian sits seventh in the standings. The independent Ducati rider has featured on two podiums in the opening four rounds of the season, but has suffered mixed results throughout the year.
A run of four races without scoring a point at Portimao and Assen really hampered Iannone's Championship position and leaves him on 68 points.
