Filippo Farioli will switch to VFT Racing and Yamaha for his second season in the World Supersport Championship.
After making his debut in the World Supersport Championship in 2025, Filippo Farioli will remain in the series for a second season in 2026.
However, after competing with the MV Agusta Reparto Corse squad in his debut season, the Italian has switched to VFT Racing and the Yamaha R9 for his sophomore year.
The Yamaha R9 was the dominant machine in the 2025 World Supersport Championship, but VFT Racing, with Niccolo Antonelli, had an underwhelming season.

"I believe we can do an excellent job together. We already had the opportunity to collaborate during the test held in Cremona at the end of August, where I was able to get to know the bike and the team. I was truly satisfied and impressed by the work done.
"From that first test, we immediately found ourselves on the same wavelength, creating a good bond that will be crucial for us to tackle the entire season at our best. The bike is very competitive; it's the same one that won the world title this year, and this is an extra motivation to give it my all.
"I arrive with a year more experience, so I will no longer be a rookie, and that's definitely a positive aspect. Already knowing the tracks and having a better understanding of how a race weekend works, which is very different from what I was used to in Moto3, will be a major advantage.
