But the 66-year-old has also taken to social media to discuss his thoughts ahead of a decision for 2026. Galinski revealed that his team may be absent from the World Superbike grid next season as he may retire from retiring.

"I think I'll retire from racing after this season," Galinski wrote.

"I've met sooooo many wonderful people in these 48 years, for which I'm infinitely grateful. Be it riders, sponsors, support staff, or mechanics. Unfortunately, I've also met others, on all four sides.

"I've learned one thing: You don't make friends by giving them lots of freedom and gifts. Friends are rare, but they're always there. Even if they're just there to be there. Motorcycle racing has given me everything!

"But it's also shown me who will remain friends for just as long as the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. We'll make it through the last season, even if it costs me everything I've built up. Thanks to my loyal helpers!"

The MGM Bonovo squad had previously been a second factory team for BMW in the World Superbike Championship. But for 2025, it became a satellite Ducati squad, with Scott Redding as the sole rider on the Panigale V4 R.

After five rounds in the 2025 World Superbike Championship, the British rider is 13th in the standings and has a best result of fourth place in the opening round of the season.

Since securing 30 points in the opening round of the season at Phillip Island, the next four rounds of the season have been difficult for the German team and British rider. The team have only scored 26 points across the next nine races in the Championship.
