Jeremy Alcoba will stay in the Kawasaki World Supersport Team for a second season after a strong end to 2025.
It has been announced by the Puccetti-run Kawasaki World Supersport Team that they will retain Jeremy Alcoba for the 2026 World Supersport campaign.
Heading into the final rounds of the 2025 season, there were rumours that Alcoba would not remain with the team after his rookie season on the Kawasaki ZX-6R. However, after an impressive end to the year, which saw Alcoba claim two podiums, he has secured his seat for 2026.
The Spaniard ended the 2025 season in eighth place in the Championship standings and will be looking to push on for a stronger year in 2026.
"I want to say how proud and super-happy I am to continue my career with such a prestigious factory as Kawasaki," Alcoba said.
"I must thank Manuel Puccetti and the entire crew for the great work so far, and for trusting in me to continue in this project. I know we are building something special here. I cannot wait for the next season and I want to start it as strongly as we finished this one, with regular podiums.
"My preparation has already begun and I am fully focused and motivated. I promise that everybody shall see the very best of Jeremy Alcoba in 2026."
Manuel Puccetti, Kawasaki WorldSSP team principal, stated: "We are happy to continue with Jeremy in the FIM World Supersport Championship in 2026. As we saw, we had a good improvement in the last two rounds with top performances that we expect to do next year in the whole championship in the fight for the title. I am very happy about this and that we will continue to grow up with this young talent. I think we will have a very great season."
