Scott Redding and MGM Bonovo Racing may not be able to finish the season due to financial issues.

Race Two at the Autodrom Most may have been the last time the MGM Bonovo Racing squad would feature on a World Superbike grid.

During the Czech Republic World Superbike Round, heavy rumours spread throughout the paddock about the future of the MGM Bonovo Racing squad.

Originally, the rumours began at Round Three of the 2025 World Superbike season at Assen. However, it now appears that the team faces closure during the middle of the Championship.

The team was restructured after the Bonovo Action BMW squad was changed to the MGM Bonovo Racing squad, with Michael Galinski in charge of the independent Ducati squad.

It has been reported by Speedweek.com that the team would need half a million euros to conclude the 2025 World Superbike Championship.

Galinski reportedly met with WorldSBK Executive Director Gregorio Lavilla at Cremona to discuss the future of his team and the potential of withdrawing midseason.

It seems to be virtually impossible for the MGM Bonovo Racing squad to raise the money that they need to finish the current season.

This would leave Scott Redding without a ride in the Championship for the remainder of the season, and the MGM Bonovo Racing staff members without jobs.

MGM can only participate in the next event in Misano in mid-June if the financial problems are resolved quickly and in advance.

After a promising start to the 2025 season for the MGM Bonovo Racing squad and Redding, they now sit 13th in the World Superbike standings after 15 races.

Redding started his year with a fifth and two fourths in the opening round of the season, but since Phillip Island has only featured in the top ten on three occasions.
