'My goal is to win as many races as possible' - Toprak Razgatlioglu sets his sights high for the remainder of 2025

World Superbikes

Toprak Razgatlioglu wants to return to racing at Magny-Cours how he left off before the World Superbike summer break.

Ahead of the summer break, Toprak Razgatlioglu had won the last nine World Superbike races in a row for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team.

With four rounds left of the season, the Turkish rider is on track to win his third World Superbike title, and his second for the German manufacturer, before he moves to MotoGP in 2025.

After time away from his BMW M1000RR, the Turkish rider was back on track at MotorLand Aragon for a two-day test with his team.

At the end of the opening day, Razgatlioglu ended up in second place on the timesheets, but bounced back on Day Two as he finished the test as the fastest rider on track.

"That was an important test," said Razgatlioglu.

"We still have four events left this season, and it's important to get the most out of every single race. Bulega and Ducati will be very strong in Aragon and Jerez, so it was good to have two days of testing in Aragon to prepare for the final sprint and this special race.

"Everyone at BMW and in the team is working very hard because we want to successfully defend the title. It was great to be back with the team, and we put in a lot of work in testing. It was very hot, and we don't know if the conditions will be similar in Aragon at the end of September.

"But overall, we have a good idea of the direction we need to go. Of course, there's still some work to be done, but I believe we're well prepared to return to racing after the summer break. My goal is to win as many races as possible."
